Introduction

Wayne Rivers' singing career started at the age of 18 . The biggest musical influences in his career have been from some of the biggest names in music history:-

ELVIS - The King

ROY ORBISON- If the Lord had a singing voice he loaned
it the Big 'O'

JOHNNY CASH - The God Father of Country

NEIL DIAMOND - Pretty Amazing (grace)

to name but a few.

Wayne loves to perform various genres of music. Rock n Roll, Country, Big Ballads, Gospel, and more....
Over the last 20 years Wayne has performed at many music venues from pubs and clubs to outdoor festivals and theatres
all over the UK.
He has been a self contained artist and a member of various bands as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitar/vocals on occasion.
He has also been awarded with numerous male vocalist of the year awards by various entertainment councils around the midlands.
In 2000 Wayne was very honoured to have his cover of a song by Garth Brooks 'Against the Grain'(click the link to listen to the track.) included on the country hot disc. A compilation of songs sent out across Europe to various radio stations and other music outlets. His song charted at number 17 in European media airplay chart.

Also in the same year his version of 'A Love without End, Amen' was included on a compilation album straight out of Nashville Tennesse on Stardust Records.
