Introduction
Wayne Rivers is ultimately a balladeer with a versatile baritone voice who loves to perform various genres of music to cater for most people's tastes.
Rock n Roll, 60's thru to present day, Trad Country,
Country Rock, Love Songs, Ballads, Power Ballads, Inspirational, and more....
Over the years he has performed at many music venues from pubs and clubs to outdoor festivals and theatres all over the UK, as a self contained artist and a member of various bands as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitar/vocals on occasion.
Wayne has also been awarded with numerous male vocalist of the year awards by various entertainment councils around the midlands.
In 2000 Rivers’ love of country music took him on a path of management and sole representation by Rich Country Productions, and recorded an album on the Rich label. That year brought a significant amount of media attention to Wayne from country magazines and various radio stations. With his band of the day they embarked on a gruelling schedule of country festivals and a tour of the Apollo group of theatres across the UK. They had the great pleasure of being the support act for the biggest name in UK country ‘Raymond Froggatt’ at the Strubshaw country festival.
Unfortunately due to management failings they never quite achieved their goal.

A compilation of songs sent out across Europe to various radio stations and other music outlets.
His song charted at number 17 in European media airplay chart.
Also in the same year Rivers’ version of
' A Love without End, Amen' (listen to the full track below)
a cover by George Strait was included on a compilation album straight out of Nashville Tennessee on Stardust Records.
Wayne continues to work the circuit entertaining people and is available for music venues, private parties etc.
At some stage he is still looking to collaborate with song writers and musicians to produce an album of the various genres of music which he loves to perform.
